This simple-to-craft outdoor spray made with Young Living Insect Repellant is the ideal way to keep your outdoor activities fun, and your pets happy.

INGREDIENTS

2 oz Young Living Insect Repellant
1 oz Vodka
1 Tbsp Copaiba Vanilla Conditioner or Lavender Conditioner
6 drops Geranium Essential Oil
16 drops or less Cedarwood Essential Oil
10 drops Palo Santo Essential Oil Blend
3 drops Rosemary Essential Oil

DIRECTIONS

Combine ingredients in 4 oz spray bottle of choice, and shake well before each use. Spray onto dog’s coat and massage in; evenly distribute with a soft grooming brush. MODIFIED OPTION TO TOPICAL APPLICATION
Soak fabric dog collar in solution of 50:50 Young Living Insect Repellant and Vodka and add essential oils listed above to glass bowl. (Omit the conditioner for the collar soak.)
Fully saturate collar and let soak for 15 minutes. Dry in sun before placing collar on dog.

POSH PETS OUTDOOR SPRAY V.1

The original, and quite possibly still the best.

INGREDIENTS

5 drops of each:
Purification Essential Oil Blend
Geranium Essential Oil
Lavender Essential Oil
Rosemary Essential Oil
Citronella Essential Oil
Cedarwood Essential Oil
Palo Santo Essential Oil
1 oz Vodka
3 oz water
1 Tbsp Young Living Lavender or Copaiba Vanilla Conditioner

DIRECTIONS

Combine in a spray bottle and spray coat as needed before going outside.

For cats, omit oils of concern, Vodka and conditioner. Add oils to 1cup Brewers Yeast and brush into cat's hair.

 

 

OUTDOOR DOG COLLAR

Topical isn’t the only option! Fabric collars with metal clasps are perfect for a DIY soak that lets your dog enjoy the great outdoors annoyance free!

INGREDIENTS

4 oz Vodka
3 drops Cedarwood Essential Oil
9 drops Geranium Essential Oil
9 drops Lavender Essential Oil
6 drops Citronella Essential Oil
3 drops Thyme Essential Oil (optional at your discretion; this is a very strong oil)
9 drops Orange Essential Oil
5 drops Palo Santo Essential Oil

DIRECTIONS

Soak collar in mixture until all is absorbed. Allow to dry completely in the sun. This is good for up to 30 days.

 

 

WATER DOG EAR SPRAY

They may love the water, but the odor that can develop in their ears afterwards needs attention. Use this spray to keep their ears healthy and clean!

INGREDIENTS

2 oz Hydrogen Peroxide
2 oz Apple Cider Vinegar
15 drops Lavender Essential Oil
15 drops Tea Tree Essential Oil

DIRECTIONS

Combine in spray bottle, and shake well before each use. Gently lift ear and spray 3 to 5 sprays in each ear, and gently massage ear after application. Alternatively, you may also mix oils (only) in base of 2oz Olive Oil and apply with a cotton round. Repeat application after every outing to the lake, pond, or pool.
